Born into a family of sassy, glamourous women with a grandfather obsessed with Marilyn Monroe; Freida Nipples’ influences are clear in her Burlesque performances where she is known for High Glamour and Pin-Up Poise.
Freida saw her first Burlesque Revue the day before her 20th birthday in 2014 after walking past a sign advertising it by chance. She was instantly drawn in by her love of the vintage aesthetic which is popular in modern Burlesque. Instantly Freida was hooked and wanted to learn every detail about this fabulous artform which compounded her love of Art, Dance, Fashion & Music!
A couple of years after that first show Freida debuted at Lady Wildflower's acclaimed Frou Frou Club in 2016 she has taken her unique style of burlesque across The UK & Europe where she won Best Newcomer (less than 6 months after her first performance) at The Berlin Burlesque Week 2017 Shimmy Shakedown. Wooing crowds as far as Australia where she was an International Performer in The Australian Burlesque Festival 2018 performing in Sydney & Melbourne.
Freida is remembered for her expressive performances which seductively blend stunning aesthetics with an abundance of charisma. Striking silhouettes, clever costume reveals, powerful stage presence, tassel twirling titivation & so much more! Fusing inspiration from vintage pin-up Queens and modern muses alike. And she will leave you gagging for more!
